The long and short term academic programs are available in Oman across many universities and educational centers. International students and researchers may apply to BA, MA, Ph.D., and postdoctoral research programs in Oman.

Cost of Education in Oman
Fees differ between universities in Oman, with the prevalence of international branch campuses and private institutions bringing the overall average up.
In general however, studying in here is cheaper than many countries, with average tuition fees currently standing at approximately USD 5000 per year.
Although the prices of programs at Oman’s international branch campuses tend to be higher, they are still much cheaper than their international counterparts, while offering the same prestige.
Scholarships
Oman has signed agreements with other countries in order that the Ministry of Education and Science may implement scholarships to provide financial assistance to international students. When determining the allocation of scholarships, preference will be given to Omani foreign students pursuing degree programs in Omani studies, pedagogy and art. Government of Oman scholarships are offered by the Government of Oman to pursue a study abroad or research in the country.
There are various Government of Oman scholarships, internships for diaspora students. When considering candidates:
- Priority is mostly given to applicants of particular merit taking into account academic ability, need, and development impact, leadership potential, and personal qualities.
- Preference is given to subjects that offer a high probability of future employment in the countries that we select candidates from and are of direct value to development.
