This is a non-profit, tuition-based, coeducational private international day school, serving students from pre-kindergarten to the 12th-grade school in Niamey that offers the American curriculum. Nursery- the nursery section’s educational goal is to grow and learn, challenge and stimulate children in an environment where they have opportunities to interact with their peers. The curriculum focuses on developing 4 key areas namely motor development, socio-emotional development, language, communication and literacy development, and general knowledge acquisition.

Pre-kindergarten- Pre-Kindergarten at the school is a play-based learning program that helps students to learn to organize and make sense of their environment as they explore and experience new things. It offers a project-based curriculum that is designed to tap into the natural interests of the children while valuing their thoughts, observations, and questions. The learning program integrates Art, drama, music (rhymes and singing), and Physical Education, and other physical activities including swimming. Students will also enjoy outdoor play which is critical for their gross motor development.

Kindergarten- children thrive in a learning environment that actively promotes social interaction, a sense of belonging, collaboration, exploration, and challenges. The Kindergarten program also follows the learning through play concepts, and individual and group investigations, and guided inquiry as well. Prospective students- acceptance of a student is conditional upon submission of the following documents:

  • A copy of the most recent vaccination card or record.
  • Copy of the child’s passport that shows the child’s birth date and nationality.

  • Records from the previous school (if transferring).

  • Two passport photos.
