What would studying abroad be like without an amazing nightlife? A question that has the most obvious answer across the globe. When you step into Nepal all your uncertainties are clarified in just one experience; the Nepali Nightlife!

When you stay a little late in Nepal you will experience the gleam of a new paradise arise in the streets and secluded spots that offer no less than what an international visitor would imagine best! If Asian Nightlife is in your list of priorities, Nepal will certainly catch all your attention.

Although not  as popular nightlife spots as in the world, Nepal nightlife, taking good care of its guests from all over the globe. Kathmandu is the capital city of Nepal also known as “City of Templates”. The people who visit from other provinces make the city high-populated.

That is the reason Kathmandu has a different style of living and setup. This beautiful city has a lot to see and enjoy but little poor about nightlife activities. According to the country's low regulations, Nepal Nightlife couldn't take its place among the world's famous nightlife sites.

When to party:

May to September is the busiest season for partying as this is when the season is the warmest. The nightlife is also fascinating just after Divali, usually in late October or early November. Clubs are officially required to close at twelve post-midnight, but the rule is not really enforced and you can actually party until morning in many venues. Friday and Saturday are the best busiest here

Drugs:

Kathmandu used to be considered as a heaven for ganja lovers up until 1973. Before this date, it was legal to smoke weed or hashish, and hippies would stream from all over the world to enjoy this freedom. World-class ganja was cultivated in the country, especially near the town of Pokhara. Nowadays, the laws have become much more strict and limiting, yet you can still obtain ganja easily. Street dealers sell it quite aggressively to foreigners in Thamel but, unfortunately, it might not be the best stuff.

The capital a variety of affordable restaurants offering international, as well as Nepalese cuisine, pubs, bars and nightlife hubs. During the last few years, Pokhara has latched onto Western nightlife and introduced Nepal’s scene of the Full Moon Rave and the Last Resort, set on the Tibetan border, holding Full Moon Trace Parties in the cooler months. Local cuisines in Nepal vary regionally by the origins of the ethnic groups, but the main staples are grains, lentils, meat and fresh vegetables cooked with spices.

Dining and Cuisine in Nepal

Kathmandu has a good choice of restaurants at all levels, with the most expensive still being cheap by Western standards and easily affordable if you’re traveling on a lined expenditure. For high-quality Indian cuisine, Ghar-e-Kebab serves the best in town, with vibrant music nightly.  In Pokhara, eating out is taken seriously by its Newari people who like their food. Most restaurants are found in the Lakeside district near to the market. Chinese, Tibetan, Japanese and Indian cuisines can be found and the local dishes are filling and tasty.
