There are several Universities in Morocco. The Government has invested immensely in the building of Higher education Institutions. Let us take a brief look at some of the institutions in Morocco.
University of Marrakech Cadi Ayyad
It was established in 1978, the University of Marrakech Cadi Ayyad is a relatively young institution which has become one of the major universities in Morocco. It has grown substantially since its founding with 85 917 students enrolled of which 752 of those are international students. It has 1764 academic staff committed to make your study period a success. It is ranked 1120 in the world and at number 2 in Morocco.
The university is comprised of 13 academic institutions nationally, the majority of which are located in Marrakech. The Faculty of Technology is located in Essaouira, the University Center in Kelaa of Essraghna, and the Technology, Multidisciplinary, and Applied Sciences Schools in Safi.
With the recent improvements in the World’s technology, the University of Marrakech Cadi Ayyad has also developed an e-learning program, offering several courses online and helping increase access to education for some of the poorest and most remote areas of Morocco.
The university prides itself on scientific research and with more than 1,400 research professors and 146 research facilities, it has become a leading scientific and technological center in Morocco. Ibn Tofail University
It was established in 1989, Ibn Tofaïl University is a non-profit public institution located in the small city of Kenitra, Rabat-Sale-Kenitra. Ibn Tofaïl University has about 33,263 undergraduate and graduate students and 397 full-time professors to assist them.
Ibn Tofail University has guaranteed training programs for undergraduate students, which allows them to acquire knowledge and grow in expertise, by offering 109 undergraduate courses in 8 different academic institutions. It is ranked at number 10 in the country.
The university has three faculties namely the faculty of sciences, the faculty of literature and humanities sciences, and the faculty of law, economics, and social sciences and has two schools the National School of Business and Management and National School of Applied Sciences.

Al Akhawayn University
It was established in 1993 and opened its doors to students in January 1995. The university's mission is driven by values of human solidarity and tolerance. It has about 2325 students and 138 academic staff. Al Akhawayn has modeled its administrative, pedagogical, and academic organization on the American university system, and English is the language of instruction.
The university has developed a national and international reputation for its unique identity and potential. The university offers post and undergraduate degrees in Physical sciences, Life sciences, Business & Economics, Social sciences, Computer science, Engineering & technology
Mohammed V University
Is located in Rabat is a dual-campus university in Morocco’s capital city of Rabat. It is ranked at 1064 in the world and number 1 in Morocco. The university was founded in 1957 through the merger of two separate institutions, the Mohammed V University at Agdal and Mohammed V University at Souissi. It offers a selection of both undergraduate and postgraduate programs.
The Agdal campus has three faculties namely the Letters and Human Sciences, Law, Economics and Social Sciences, and Science, and also offers vocational courses and a diploma of technology.
There are about ten faculties at Souissi campus, namely the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy of Rabat, the Faculty of Dentistry Rabat, the National School of Computer Science and Systems Analysis, the Faculty of Educational Sciences, the Institute for the Study and Research for Arabization, the University Institute for Scientific Research, the Institute of African Studies, the Ecole Normale Superieure of Technical Education and two Faculties of Law, Economics and Social Sciences in separate locations.
