Established in 1969, the school offered educational services as a bridging institution for students who move forward to get university degrees.
In 2006, they were officially a college that offered certificate diplomas, and eventually, in 2010 they reached university status offering degree programs.
Ever since more and more schools and centers of learning have been opened under their umbrella.
Still maintaining their mantra of providing education at any level, the school has continued to expand and become an institution of choice for many Malaysians and the international community alike.
Often looked upon as standard for other private owned unıveristies in Malaysia, with their contemporary methods and progressive ideologies, they continue to soldier on as an institution with a difference.
TU continues to develop and implement modern and forward-thinking teaching methods that have proved effective in this 21st century, giving each student a unique and time-relevant learning experience.
The school has designed its curriculum in such a way that students do not only achieve academic success but also social skills and form habits and traits that will make them stand out and be the best in their future endeavors.
Students enjoy a holistic experience of both training the mind and body to excel in whichever field they wish to undertake.
They started this new concept that they tagged the ‘Second transcript’ where students get awarded a second diploma for their other non-academic activities in the school. This doesn't only commend students for their academic performance but also their additional skills which they consider helpful in the world today. This concept does not only compliments but also showcases students in a manner that sets them apart from both within and outside the school.
