Malawi High school Application Requirements

For admission into secondary schools in Malawi, these are the general requirements that prospective students must consider. These include:

  • Signed and completed Application forms
  • A non-refundable application fee
  • Passport-size photos of the students
  • National I.D or passport if over the age of 16
  • Copy of Passport biodata page
  • Passport photographs of parents or guardians
  • Medical Reports or records
  • Copy of applicant’s birth certificate
  • latest reports from the previous school
  • Proof of Residence in Malawi
  • Recommendation letter from applicant’s previous school
  • Study visa/ permit
  • Residence permit
  • Proof of acceptance of admission into a school or institution in Malawi.

Other requirements vary depending on the school. There are also immigration requirements including a visa or permit to study in Malawi. Any foreigner who intends to study in Malawi must have a valid visa issued by the Malawian embassy in their country. They should also have a residence permit that allows them to reside in Malawi beyond a period of 3 months.

    Malawi Adventist University

    It's a private Christian institution located in Ntcheu Malawi under the Seventh-day Adventist Church. It is run by the Seventh-day Adventist Church and is part of the Seventh-day Adventist education system which is the world's second-largest Christian school system.
