Secondary education in Madagascar lasts for seven years and is divided into two stages namely, junior secondary for four years for students aged twelve to fifteen, and senior secondary for three years for students aged sixteen to eighteen.

At the end of junior school, students get a certificate. The junior secondary curriculum consists of subjects such as mathematics, natural science, Malagasy language, civics and religion, French language, English, history, geography arts, and physical education, to mention but a few. senior secondary graduates are awarded the baccalauréat which is a high school diploma.

Secondary students can take any one of the two streams namely the general stream or the vocational stream. senior-level graduates receive the baccalauréat which is a high school diploma. Junior secondary students who go for vocational training are awarded a professional certificate called college Professionelle, while senior secondary students who are admitted to the technical college (college technique) are awarded a technical diploma called baccalauréat technique.

The senior secondary curriculum includes subjects such as advanced mathematics, natural science, introduction to the technology, French, Malagasy, history, geography, civics, religion, and physical education, to mention but a few.

This is a French international school in Antananarivo, Madagascar which serves primary school through to senior high school. The college and high school are located at the Ambatobe site. French is the language of instruction and communication at the school. The school follows the French model of teaching.

Curriculum- the secondary curriculum is based on the American Curriculum to students in Grades 6 to 12. which culminates in a High School Diploma or the IB Diploma Programme, depending on the level. The curriculum offers subjects such as English Language and Literature, Social Studies, Science, Mathematics, French, Design Technology, Malagasy, Physical and Health Education, Exploratory Arts. In grade 8, students will select one subject from the list of Fine and Performing Arts options including Band, General Music, and Visual Arts.

IB Diploma- In Grade 11 students will make course choices within the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP). Students will choose three subjects to study in detail at Higher Level (HL) and three subjects at Standard Level (SL). Students will also select six subjects by choosing one from each of the following groups:

Group 1- Language and Literature (Language A)

Group 2- Language Acquisition (or a second Language A - French or self-taught)

Group 3- Individuals and Societies (Geography, History)

Group 4- Sciences (Biology, Chemistry, Physics)

Group 5- Mathematics (Mathematics: Applications and interpretation)

Group 6- The Arts (Visual Art)

Students will also be expected to take Three compulsory core requirements in Creativity, Activity, Service (CAS), an Extended Essay, and the Theory of Knowledge (ToK) course
