Kenya Pre School Application Requirements

All international students who wish to study in Kenya must have the requisite immigration documents, as required by government policy. The child will not be allowed to attend school without the appropriate study visa. Parents or guardians must ensure that they apply for the appropriate visa at any Kenyan embassy or consulate in their country.

  • Duly filled and signed application forms
  • Prospective student's passport, which is valid for at least 6 more months from time of entry.
  • For minors, a copy of their parent's Kenya residence permit if not a border.
  • Proof of residence in Kenya
  • Parents/ guardian's Identification document
  • Applicant’s Study visa
  • birth certificate
  • applicant’s Medical Forms or records
  • valid passport of Parent or Guardian
  • Signed commitment letter from the sponsor (if fees are paid by a company or third party)
  • Documents in a foreign language should be translated into English by either the Embassy, Public Notary, or an authorized institution.

Visa requirements for children under 18

student visa requirements for minors in Kenya include:

  • A visa application form
  • Passport photos
  • Proof of acceptance into a school in Kenya
  • A birth certificate
  • Copies of parents’ identity documents.
  • Written consent from one or both parents, or a guardian
  • Proof of the address and contact number of an adult in Kenya who will act as a guardian (and a confirmation letter).
  • A consent letter from the parents or legal guardian
