Founded in 1963, Institut Pertanian Bogor is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the metropolis of Bogor, West Java. Officially recognized by the Kementerian Riset dan Teknologi/Badan Riset dan Inovasi Nasional, Republik Indonesia (Ministry of Research and Technology/National Research and Innovation Agency of Republic Indonesia), Institut Pertanian Bogor (IPB) is a large coeducational Indonesian higher education institution.
