Student Life in Guinea

Find Programs
(Bachelor's, Master's & PhD)

Students in Guinea can take up a variety of activities to make their life at university worthwhile and more fruitful.

Part-time jobs students are encouraged to take up part-time jobs to gain some experience in the field and to also assist the students to make some extra cash.

This is also encouraged by most student bodies to discourage students from engaging in illicit activities to earn money while they study in a foreign land. Most students prefer to work jobs where they get more experience in a trade in which they are studying.

Social Clubs- social clubs both on and off-campus are the best way for students to make friends, fit in, learn, and experience life in Guinea. Clubs that students can join include public speaking clubs, drama clubs, chess clubs, and debate clubs, to name but a few.

Sporting clubs-sports clubs help students to enjoy, travel and to meet other people, and make new friends in a foreign land. It is encouraged for students to at least join a sports club where they can showcase their talents.

Night clubs, movies, and going out-the best way to enjoy student life in a foreign land is to go out. Get to see and experience the best of what guinea can offer while at the same time making friends and having fun.

Team-building exercises- these include obstacle courses and other team-building challenges that bring students closer together while they have fun at the same time.
