A 1 bedroomed Apartment in City Centre in Guam costs about $1 300.00 per month while a 1 bedroomed Apartment Outside of the city centre costs $1 018.75. Several other accommodation options are available in Guam and may come fully furnished with a bed, couch, television, dining tables, and chairs, coffee table, wardrobe, and shared kitchen to mention but a few.

Transport

The cost of local transportation in Guam is about $2.00 for a one-way ticket, $25.00 for a monthly pass, and $1.15 for gasoline. Travelers have many transport options to choose from including by plane, by train, by bus, by car, by taxi, and by boat, among others.

Rental Cars- driving a rental vehicle is one of the best ways to go about in Guam as they provide more convenience. Travelers can choose between self-drive or chauffeur-driven cars. There are several rental agencies in Guam including Alamo Car Rental, Thrifty, Andy Car Rental, and Guam Rent a Car to mention but a few. Rental can cost as little as $15 a day.

Buses- Guam busses operate on 9 routes that connect through all the villages. These are available daily except on holidays and Sundays. The standard bus fare is $3 per day or $1per ride and offers discounts for senior citizens, students, and the physically challenged. The fare is discounted to $0.35 for those aged 6-18, and $1 a day for those aged 55 and above.

Trolleys- these are available at all hotels and shopping centers for $3 per ride.

Taxis- taxis are available at hotels and major shopping centers. These are metered and charge flat rates. The standard rate is $2.40 or $4 for the first mile and $0.80 for every quarter mile after that.
