It is the main administrative, economic, commercial, and transportation center of the central and southern Peloponnese.
In the apartment buildings, you can also see well-preserved neoclassical, traditional houses and fountains. The Greek city of Tripoli was founded at the beginning of the 14th century. In the early days, several invaders such as the Venetians and the Winders left their mark on the city. It was then the former capital of Moria and flourished during the Ottoman Empire.
