The International Hellenic University (IHU) was established in October 2005 and is headquartered in Thessaloniki, Greece. IHU is the first public university in Greece to teach entirely in English. The university specializes in postgraduate programs for international students interested in studying in Greece, as well as for Greek students seeking an international perspective. The language of instruction and administration for all courses is English. IHU aims to develop into one of Europe's leading research and scientific institutions. As a state university, all degrees awarded are recognised by the government and recognised in the EU and internationally.
