The International School of Business offers its students a comprehensive international education. Undergraduate students combine their business studies with English and either French or Spanish or Italian. For international students, German language is mandatory.
Note that students complete one or two semesters of study abroad in a European or overseas country. Depending on specialisation, ISM students choose an institution from the ISM’s more than 180 partner universities.
The semester abroad is designed to further develop and expand their intercultural and language competencies within the Germany ecosystem, and enhance and deepen their professional knowledge in an international context.
All bachelor`s programs include lectures held in English and German except for B.Sc. in International Management English Trail which is entirely taught in English.

Accommodation in International School of Management dormitories costs between 250 EURO and 350 EURO per month. However, students can find cheaper accommodation off-campus.
Studio
Fully furnished studio type dorms with multiple bedrooms. Residents have to opt for an all-inclusive yearly package including canteen meals since cooking is not allowed in these buildings.
Apartment
IMS also offers fully furnished apartment types dorms with a lounge, kitchen, bathroom, toilet and a balcony. Cooking is allowed, therefore it is not necessary to choose the all-inclusive package.
Student halls owned and maintained by Student Services Organisations are present throughout the city. This is the most affordable type of accommodation, averaging from around 200 to 250 EUR per month.
The accommodation placements are in high demand, and it is, therefore, advisable that you apply for this housing as early as possible through the website of the Studentenwerk administration local to your chosen university.
There is also a chance to rent accommodation from a private landlord or estate agent. Prices fluctuate greatly depending on location and quality of the apartment, however, the price of housing here averages around 200 to 350 EUR per month. To save on cost, consider living with roommates in flatshare.
The university offers a variety of sporting activities. The sporting activities are run by the Department of Sports which is also responsible for arranging tournaments ranging from interdepartmental to interuniversity games.
At the IMS-Berlin, students can participate in the sports of their choice and excelling students are usually met with high prices including scholarships in various respects.
The sports also help like-minded students to meet and interact. The sports range from football and basketball to yoga, cheerleading or golf.
Generally, German food is rich, hearty and delicious and many top German dishes make great comfort food. Each region has its own specialty dishes and traditional cuisine, you will find the best of dishes by campus with minimal effort.
Dining food can be purchased once per semester or alternatively on a daily basis. There are vending machines in the cafeteria that provide hot and cold drinks as well as snacks. Here you will also find microwaves for home cooked meals.

The International School of Management provides an efficient and reliable bus service so at to ease student and stuff travel concerns. The university offers free (identified and registered students) shuttle service around campus while there's bus around the city at designated bus stops, even into areas not covered by the city transportation provider.
This service is free of charge for all ISM students upon presentation of their Student ID or registration form to the bus driver.
To complement the university efforts in offering reliable and efficient transport there are local commutes dedicated to the task of board students on fixed schedules.
The university busses are modern looking with WIFI, comfortable, spacious and air-conditioned.
