Cost of living in Germany
The best way to meet Germany is with the capital, Berlin, since the city depicts the state of things in the rest of this great country. Germany is very diverse and uniquely shaped in terms of its culture, entertainment and lifestyle. The country also has a plethora of accommodation options from cheap hostels to luxurious hotels, numerous shopping and nightlife scenes to offer you the best outfit.
The country has a great variety of cafes, pubs, bars, and restaurants to meet the expectations and budget of almost everyone’s demands. You can try a combo meal in the nearest fast food restaurant and pay 8 Euros for this, or go to a mid-range trendy eatery and pay 50 Euros for the three-course meal for two. Every city here has at least one or two covered or open-air street markets. The prices in the markets are quite very low. The cheapest products are milk, domestic beer, water, and lettuce.
Germany is known for its strict and time-sensitive people who host Oktoberfests and drink a lot of beer. The other great thing Germany can be proud of is transport system. There are buses, trams, subway, and high-speed trams, as well as city trains. The prices are 3 Euros to go one way so it’s better to purchase a monthly pass for just 80 Euros. Compared to the other European countries, the monthly utilities here are rather big. You’ll have to pay nearly ten percent of your monthly income to pay for some basic amenities we all use every day.
The country is famous for skiing resorts and bicycle routes. A lot of German people spend their time outside the house and really love it. The basic sports like fitness clubs offer monthly subscriptions to adults for about 30 Euros a month. This is more profitable than going to the cinema or the tennis court here. Germans are one of the best in swimming, hockey, biathlon, football, and athletics.
The country is filled with immigrants, expats, tourists, and students. Finding accommodation here is like a riddle to be solved amongst other things. You do not need to stress much however in this regard as we offer accommodation services freely on our website. Be sure to check out.
