Find Programs
(Bachelor's, Master's & PhD)

Student life can be very exciting and fun if met with the correct educational and social needs. Universities in Ethiopia seek to meet those needs in the greatest of ways. With highly qualified lectures, students are guaranteed to get a fulfilling educational experience.

The drive and support by the government in an effort of promoting Ethiopian education also ensures that students get the optimum educational experience Ethiopia can offer.

Universities and other tertiary institutions usually follow a two-semester calendar of sixteen weeks of classes each semester with students sitting for examinations at the end of each semester. Lectures start at 8 am and usually last between 3 to 6 hours depending on the program.

Most institutions offer on-campus residence therefore students can be able to save up on transport, rent, and utilities and also access other facilities such as the campus library, gym, sporting grounds, and computer center until late.

On-campus accommodation will also save on chores such as cooking as there are dining halls that provide prepared food for students living on campus.

After classes, students are guaranteed to be met with extra-curricula activities that are not short of captivating. Sports, beauty pageants, cultural and religious festivals, expos and organized site- seeing tours are a common norm on campus.

With a multicultural environment, life lessons and experience will not end in the lecture room but rather with each and local you are bound to interact with in restaurants, the street markets, sporting field, bars, and even night clubs.

With a median age of 19.5 years, Ethiopia promises to be a hyperactive country filled with a vibrancy that relates well to a university student.

An English speaking nation, Ethiopia is known for its friendly people and beautiful landscapes; no doubt it is certain to grow on you, it will feel like a home away from home.
