Current openings in Croatia
All students enrolled in a higher education program for full-time in Croatia are eligible to seek part-time employment with financial gain while they study.
International students are also allowed to work part-time in the country as long as they remain enrolled in a university program.
The government of Croatia has set up an agency that is solely responsible for the handling and approval of student employment processes in the country. This body called the “ Student Service Center (Student Servis)”. They have branches in every university town or region and they regulate and approve international students who seek part-time employment while studying.
Full-time students for longer study periods more than 6 months can go directly to the Student Center in their area and submit a few documents for confirmation and then further approval.
However, short-term students and exchange program students must first check with their university the status of their eligibility and what specificities are they conditioned to if they are granted.
Eligible international students by the Student Service Center can register in person at any of their facilities by just filling out a simple registration form and attaching some additional documents. These documents required include;
- Transcript Book (“Indeks”)
- Two passport photographs
- A giro bank account certificate of a local Croatian bank
- International passport or travel I.D.
- Student certificate showing full-term enrollment in a university course.

- Marketing jobs are available across the major cities in Croatia
- Student internships in many local and international corporations
- Student practice in many local business and start-up companies in different cities
- Jobs in sales, cashiers, attendants, and front-desk operatives
- Jobs as a developer, programmer, and employment in IT, ICT, and software engineering
- Language Teaching for foreign languages like English, Turkish, Russian, German, French, etc.
- Private tutoring for students in elementary and secondary school.
- Special skills tutoring; Music, learning a musical instrument, dance, photography, and fine arts.
