Application Requirements for Croatia Universities

The application process in Croatia for international students follows certain guidelines determined by the program, the university, and the level of study. Luckily, we have that covered and can help you answer all your hinging questions.

The process has been simplified and several international students can use our services in securing acceptance to their desired programs at Croatian institutions. Study options for international students in the country are;

Students who are nationals of EU countries can apply to study in Croatia using the same procedure as Croatian citizens.

Application Requirements

Undergraduate – Interested candidates must show that they have completed secondary school education to be able to apply for programs in bachelor’s studies or professional studies. They must also present the appropriate results showing their academic performance, most Croatian universities must have finished a minimum of four years of senior secondary or high school education.

Graduate – Interested candidates must show that they have completed the relevant degree program in undergraduate studies can apply to graduate-level programs. They must also present academic transcripts showing the timeline of the study and the grades obtained.

Some universities have special placements tests as part of their enrollment process. Students with professional certificates can apply to graduate programs under certain conditions provided by the institution.

Postgraduate – Interested candidates must show that they have completed a graduate program and obtained the relevant degree to be able to apply to post-graduate courses. They must also attach added information such as university transcripts, CV’s, and other documents showing their work experience.

The university may request certain enrollment requirements as the program or institution sees fit.

NB:

All documents obtained in another country or a foreign language should be translated into Croatian and copies of all original documents must be authenticated and notarized by the relevant public agency.
