The University of Ndjamena
It is the largest institute of higher education in chad. It was established in 1971 and was known as the University of Chad. It was later renamed the University of Ndjamena in the year 1994. You can find several bachelor programs including applied sciences and professions, arts, communication, economics, education, health, humanities, law and jurisprudence, management, political science, and sociology. Several international students choose to study here because of its 49-year training experience, its location in the capital city, and the demand for its students in the labor market.
Université Adam Barka d'Abeche
It is a non-profit university located in the town of Abeche. It is officially recognized and accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education, Research, and vocational training. It is a co-educational facility and accepts international students as well. It has the main faculties namely the:

- faculty of law and economic sciences
- Faculty of sciences and techniques.

The University of Doba
It is a public university officially founded in 2010. It is located in the town of Doba I the Logone Occidental region. It is officially recognized by the ministry of higher education, research, and vocational training of chad. It is a co-educational facility and offers admission for international students.
Ecole National d'Administration ET de magistrature
The National School of Administration and Magistrate is a public university funded by the government. It is located in Ndjamena and was established in 1960. It is one of Chad's top research-driven universities seeking to proffer solutions to the nations, and society's problems. It is a co-educational facility and also welcomes both local and international students. Some of its courses include agriculture, engineering, medicine and pharmacy, arts, management, and social science, science and technology, education, and law.
