There are several Visa that can be issued for travel to the Central African Republic. These include the tourist visa, student visa, business visa, or diplomatic visa. Prospective travelers must apply for the relevant visa stating their reason for travel to the Central African Republic.
Visa can be obtained from the consulate or at the embassy and can be applied for online. The Host country has the right to issue or reserve issuance of a visa at their discretion.
Central African Republic student visa
To be eligible for or to apply for a Central African Republic Visa, the following are a prerequisite.
- A valid passport, valid for 6 months, it has to have at least a blank page for Visa stamps.
- An invitation letter from the Central African Republic for study and business visa.
- Proof of travel arrangements or itinerary
- fully completed application forms with signature
- E-mail address- which will be used to send the visa if you have applied online.
- Passport size photographs as per the requirements.
- Copies of International yellow fever vaccination certificates.
- Proof of accommodation or booking in CAR
- Proof of sufficient funds for the stay in CAR.
- Proof of acceptance into university in CAR.
- Personal Contact details, or contact person details in CAR.
Countries that are exempt from requiring the Central African Republic visa include Benin, Burkina Faso, Gabon, Israel, Burundi, Cameroon, Chad, Liberia, Niger, Congo Brazzaville, Democratic Republic of Congo, Cote d'Ivoire, Equatorial Guinea, the United States of America, Rwanda, Senegal, the United Arab Emirates, to mention but a few.
