General Admissions Requirements

Applicants have to satisfy certain minimum requirements to be considered for admission to Cameroon Universities. There are limited places available at the universities and hence a selection procedure must be followed

Note: applying to the University having met the minimum requirements does not guarantee admission to the University, the Admissions Boards will make the final decision.
General requirements for admission into Cameroonian universities:

Bachelor /Undergraduate Programs:

  • O’ Level certificates
  • A' Level certificates
  • Passport-sized photos
  • Motivation letter
  • A duly filled and signed visa application formalities
  • A passport with a minimum one-year validity
  • A medical certificate
  • Proof of general English proficiency requirements

Masters Programs:

  • Bachelor's degree certificates
  • Transcripts
  • Passport
  • Passport size photos
  • Health Insurance
  • Curriculum vitae
  • Release letter from previous University (for transfer students)

Ph.D. Programs:

  • Master's degree certificate
  • Bachelor's degree certificate
  • Transcripts from a from both Bachelor and Master's program
