Limkokwing University decided to take international education to the diaspora, charting new frontiers in Africa with the launch of Limkokwing Botswana on May 14, 2007. The opening of the Limkokwing University campus in Gaborone made Botswana an international community and outlined the efforts of the African nation to build a more educated and civilized country for the future.

Gaborone University College of Law And Professional Studies is a law school located in the capital city of Botswana and is accredited by the Botswana Qualifications Authority in various programs which mainly pertain to law. Its strives to have broad access to research-informed, world-class innovative and flexible education.

Founded in 1997, Botho university is the largest private university in Botswana. The school was founded on the principle that education is important for the growth of individuals and the growth of the nation of Botswana.

The Botswana University of Agriculture and Natural Resources was established through an Act of Parliament No.12 of 2015 following the repeal of the Botswana College of Agriculture Act No.9 of 1991. The history of the institution dates as far back as 1967 at Content Farm in Sebele Gaborone, when the Ministry of Agriculture decided to transfer the Certificate in Agriculture course, which had been offered since 1959 at Mahalapye. Assistance from the British charity organizations, Freedom from Hunger and Oxfarm as well as funds obtained from the Botswana Government were used to construct the first buildings of the Botswana Agricultural College (BAC). The University continues to grow at its two campuses in Sebele and Lobatse by developing new programmes that are relevant to the needs of industry in the areas of agriculture, natural resources and allied fields.

Botswana Accountancy College (BAC) was established in 1996 as joint venture between the Ministry of Finance and Development Planning (MFDP), The Debswana Diamond Company and the Botswana Institute of Accountants (BIA) . BAC asserts itself as a center for excellence in the Southern Africa region and beyond. BAC provides the highest quality tertiary education in accounting, finance, business,management, hospitality, leisure,taxation and ICT.

The vision which informed the formation of Boitekanelo College is what has steered it towards its current status as a progressive institution, impacting lives through the graduates who have developed in their respective fields of study at the institution, year after year, since 2007. The college opened its doors for the first batch of students in May 2007 at the time operating as Boitekanelo Training Institute (BTI), which later changed to Boitekanelo College in 2011 offering Certificate, Diploma and Degree programmes accredited and approved by BQA and HRDC respectively.
