Bosnia and Herzegovina Visa Requirements

International students coming into the country for study purposes of one year and/or more must obtain a visa before they arrive in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Citizens from countries like the USA, Canada, or the UK, and nations in the EU are allowed entry into the country for a three-month duration after which they must apply for a residence visa which will allow them to stay longer.

 

Students' visa is only valid for one year and can be extended as the student progresses in their studies, international students can apply for their first visas at the embassy or consulate of Bosnia and Herzegovina in their home country.

All foreign students must present their acceptance letter from a Bosnian university or higher institution, and they must fill the visa application form before they can be granted a student visa.
