When applying for admission into Benin's secondary schools, parents of prospective students must note the basic requirements for various schools here. Some of them are as follows:
- a completed enrolment application form
- assessment test results
- proof of any special needs
- Special pedagogical reports, if requested
- Photocopy of original birth certificate.
- Photocopy of international passport.
- Two (2) recent passport photographs.
- Parents’ or guardian’s passport and ID
- Proof of application fee payment.
- The applicant’s most recent school records or reports
- A valid passport, ID, or driver's license of Parents or guardian
- Proof of address (copy of a bill or a rental agreement)
- Students visa
- Transfer form or School Leaving Certificate
- a clearance letter from the previous school
- Proof of Residence in Benin
- study permit (for all foreign students)
- proof of a scholarship if any
- testimonial from the previously attended school
- the child’s last term report card, or transcript
- Reference letter from the previously attended school
- The transfer letter from a previously attended school
- Transcripts for GCE Ordinary Level or International General Certificate of Secondary Education results (A- level applicants)
