Every year, more than 10 000 international students from over 50 countries come to study at Azerbaijan universities.  Student life can be divided into two parts. The first part deals directly with educational activities such as attending lectures, sessions, and exams. In the second part, consists of the hours that are spent outside an academic learning environment.

Student life in Azerbaijan encompasses different activities such as sports, cultural and entertainment events, social hours, celebrations, and study trips to places in and outside the country. Student initiative is the most important factor determining the variety of student life as the majority of our events are inspired and initiated by and for the students.

In Azerbaijan, universities offer a broad program of lectures and forums along with student performances, music events, festivals. Student clubs and societies forging the core of students’ extracurricular life in Azerbaijan. Graduate Students Council (GSC) is the principal student hub of the Master, Ph.D., and professional degree students.

Additionally, there are various student clubs aimed to increase student engagement and enrich student experiences, such as Humor Club, Dancing Club, Foreign Languages Club.

Diversity in Azerbaijan makes student life a remarkable and life-changing experience. Azerbaijan offers numerous essential university activities, as well as non-traditional opportunities to emphasize student life experience. Students can join clubs, sports teams, media outlets, win awards, get involved in the community work, volunteer in charities, take leadership positions, and use dozens of opportunities available.

Every year, the International Student Festival in Baku is held by the ADA University. During the event, students present information about the countries of Africa, Asia, Europe, North and South America. ADA Annual International Festival brought together representatives of foreign Embassies in Azerbaijan, international and local students of ADA University, and guests of ADA University to celebrate cross-cultural communication and to promote cultural dialogue among nations.

Stands from Azerbaijan, Afghanistan, Argentina, Austria, Bulgaria, China, Colombia, Egypt, Greece, India, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Japan, Jordan, Korea, Kyrgyz Republic, Malaysia, Mexico, Montenegro, Norway, Pakistan, Palestine, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Sweden, that participate in the festival, present their national dances, music, and cuisine to the guests from different embassies and governmental agencies.
