Documents students should carry to Austria

Traveling to a new country comes with the many exciting possibilities of making new memories. The admission has been secured and the visa has been obtained, the next step now to plan a beautiful trip to Austria.

However, there are documents that every student must travel along with, they are requested for at entry points and needed for student registration;

For residence permit purposes, the student must present their birth certificate along with other requirements. Many universities in Austria might accept scanned copies of the students' credentials, however, they will insist on seeing the students originals before the student can register or begin classes.

Students who wish to employ car rental services or even purchase a car in Austria must have an already existing driver's license, or make a new one while in the country. Also as a means of Identification, these documents prove to be useful eventually.

Additionally, many students seeking employment in Austria might also need to provide other documents that attest to their skills or abilities.

  2. Unconditional acceptance letter
  3. All Payment receipts

Medical documents:

  1. Medical report (if applicable)

Other documents:

  1. Printed flight itinerary
  2. 12 passport photocopies

Please kindly make sure to have the originals and 6 (certified/notarized) photocopies of each enlisted document.
