Universidade Jean Piaget de Angola is a university in based in Luanda, Angola, with campuses in the Benguela province. It is named after the Swiss philosopher Jean Piaget. UniPiaget's mission is to invest in the creation and promotion of human development, in the dissemination of culture, knowledge, science and technology and that, through the articulation of study, teaching and scientific research, be integrated into the life of the Angolan society, privileging creativity, innovation and responsibility.
It brings together values built on education, science, technical-professional training, social harmony and values linked to social solidarity. The vision is to contribute to human and social development, through the creation and consolidation of units that implement education, research and community intervention projects, based on scientific, pedagogical and creative freedom, proximity, fundamental human values and networking . Thus, its vision is focused on man and for man. The mission, values and vision of this house of knowledge are based on the postulates of its patron, Jean Piaget , who defended methods that encourage people to develop their skills. Luanda, the capital of Angola, is a port city on the west coast of Southern Africa. A seafront promenade known as the Marginal runs alongside Luanda Bay. Nearby is the well-preserved 16th-century Fortress of São Miguel, which now contains the Museum of the Armed Forces. The fort has views of the harbor and the Ilha do Cabo, a long, thin peninsula in the bay that’s home to beaches, bars and restaurants.
