Application Requirements for American Samoa Universities

Higher education institutions in American Samoa accept most applicants who have high school diplomas or a GED and are at least 18 years old. Special provisions are in place for those below 18 years. To be eligible to study in American Samoa, the following requirements must be met by the applicants:

  • A passport copy

  • Must be at least 18 years old

  • Social security card (if any)

  • High school diploma

  • General education diploma

  • Application fees

  • Application forms 

  • Immigration Board Authorization

  • Full details of potential student 

  • Standardized English language proficiency

  • Residency information

  • High school diploma

  • Transcripts of completed courses for continuing students.

  •  Recent Passport-sized photographs

  • 2 letters of recommendation

  • Current health clearance

  • Proof of sufficient financial capacity to study and stay in American Samoa.

  • Health and travel insurance

  • A copy of your passport with the expiration date covering the entire duration of study in American Samoa.

  • Curriculum vitae with a photo of an international student.
